I tried using dwg-purge (autocad) earlier today, and i ended up giving up because it didn't recognize the dwg files. you may need to adjust your registry to accept these types of database files and then retry the dwg-purge command. autocad error: no such database dwg is a database or a filetype which the dwg-purge tool does not support. i used the command line here is the whole thing after i ran the command which i got the error as follows: "unable to purge dwg file /filepath. anyways i thought i would just try to use dwg-purge tool to clear out any unnecessary autocad files. I was not able to upgrade my license key for 2019 from 2018 to 2019. the reason i mention this is that if the version 2016 or 2017 is installed then you wont be able to purge dwg files to use the newer ones. using the latest version of civil3d is a must to use this newer version of dwg purge. it has quite a few new features but are optional for the current version to work with the older versions. with open the cmd and type:ĭwg is for the original civil 3d version.dgn is for a new addition to civil3d that should be built in with the next major update.
ive made also the same changes ( i think ) as you ( deleting my %appdata%\autodesk\civil 3d2016) i ve also installed autodesk dwg-purge-batch, but when i run the program it sais that the plugin is obsolete and he doesnt want to run.
